Dean Grose joined the Board of Directors following the November, 2022 election and is serving a two year term. Mr. Grose is not new to the area, having moved to Los Alamitos in 1986, as the CEO of Event Medical Services and EMS Medical Products. He retired in 2014.
He and his wife, Dr. Wendy Grose, are active with many local non profit organizations in town. As supporters, Wendy serves as Chairwoman of Precious Life Shelter, is on the Board of the Los Alamitos Museum, St. Isidores Historical Plaza and the Long Beach YMCA. She is in Practice with Optimum Healthcare in Cypress and serves on the Los Alamitos Planning Commission.
Mr. Grose served on the Los Alamitos City Council in 2006, 2012, and 2018. He was Mayor in 2009, he is also a graduate of the Los Angeles Division of the FBI citizens academy in 2011; a graduate and Board of Directors for the Los Angeles division of the DEA, and president and graduate of the LA division of the Alcohol, Tobbaco , Firearms and Explosives, ATF.
They have five children, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
